3D Crafter (previously known as 3D Canvas) is a complete 3D modelling program that has a large number of tools to create high quality images and even animations.

3D Crafter works in real time, using simple drag and drop operations. It comes equipped with various templates which you can use in combination to create complex models in 3D. The program has a range of tools for you to change all aspects of your model: deform, scupt paint, etc.

3D Crafter can also be used to create animations. All you need to do is position the shapes you want to use within the scene you have developed. You have to do this for every point in the animation that you wish to create. The program will then join them up and ensure a smooth animation. You can review it in real time to see how it is turning out, or view it one frame at a time to see if anything needs modifying o changing. When you are satisfied you can then save it as an AVI video.

3D Crafter allows you to personalize the interface so you only have the tools available that you really need and use, thus reducing the clutter and making more space for the model itself. There are three versions of 3D Crafter, with versions Plus and Pro being available to buy.
